4CH-RS485-ETH (V) is an RS485 IoT gateway specifically designed for industrial environments. It integrates multiple functions, including a serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, and RS485 to JSON converter. It has 4 Channels RS485 interfaces and dual Ethernet interface.
4CH-RS485-ETH (VI) with optocoupler isolation, isolation voltage 3000V.
It comes with mounting ears and rail buckles, supporting 3 installation methods. The devices can use the same IP address, and different serial ports are distinguished by ports; each serial port can also use different IP addresses. It can not only save IP resources through shared addresses, but also enable independent network communication through different IP address.
The devices supports transparent transmission and Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP function, has storage Modbus gateway characteristics, and also supports MQTT protocol. Supports MODBUS RTU, 645 protocol conversion to JSON and scheduled upload function through MQTT/HTTP POST.
When used as a Modbus gateway, it supports Modbus TCP to Modbus RTU, so that the host computer can use the Modbus TCP protocol to collect data from RS485 Modbus RTU devices. On the contrary, if the RS485 end is used as a master station, it can also be used. It supports more advanced Modbus gateway functions, including configurable Modus gateways, storage-type Modbus gateways, etc., which fully meet various configurations and usages of Modbus gateways. The multi-host function it supports allows multiple computer master stations to access an RS485 slave device at the same time.
When used as an MQTT gateway, the device can transparently upload serial port data to the MQTT server using the MQTT protocol. Supported servers include Baidu Cloud MQTT, Alibaba Cloud MQTT, China Mobile OneNet platform, etc. It supports parsing the collected Modbus RTU or non-standard serial port data into JSON format and encapsulating it in an MQTT data packet for uploading.
Supports uploading collected data in JSON format, automatic data collection, and supports Modbus RTU, 645 instrument version 97, 645 instrument version 07, and various non-standard RS485 protocols. Users can use Vircom to configure the uploaded data format and JSON keywords. When uploading, it can support MQTT protocol, HTTP POST protocol, HTTP GET protocol, transparent transmission protocol, and various non-standard network protocols.
