Edge Protocol Conversion (Modbus to JSON)
Autonomously polls Modbus RTU or DLT-645 serial instruments, parsing raw hex registers into structured HTTP/MQTT JSON payloads at the edge.

Multi-Host Polling Support
The storage Modbus gateway manages concurrent TCP polling requests from up to 7 SCADA clients, sequencing commands to prevent RS485 bus collisions.

Customizable Registration & Heartbeat Packets
Sends persistent TCP heartbeat strings to prevent carrier disconnections, and auto-injects ASCII/Hex registration packets to verify remote slave IDs.

Wide Voltage Input & Protection
