Valtoris Industrial PoE Switch Solutions
From highway security surveillance to high-density factory WLAN systems, our PoE line delivers deterministic power without voltage injection risks.

Active PoE+ Auto-Sensing
Intelligently negotiates with IEEE 802.3af/at PDs before releasing voltage, completely protecting standard non-PoE PLCs from forced injections.
Up to 240W Power Budget
High-density models allocate robust wattage to keep heavy PTZ cameras with automated de-icing heaters online during peak winter loads.
Jumbo Frame Forwarding
Supports up to 2048-byte frames to guarantee uncompressed, zero-jitter multi-channel IP camera streaming back to the local NVR.

Noise-Immune SFP Uplinks
Gigabit fiber slots overcome copper distance limits, bridging field cameras with control servers up to 120km away securely.
Redundant Power Circuitry
Dual DC48-57V inputs backed by reverse-connection protection protect the module from short-circuiting during accidental wiring reversals.
IP40 Fanless Armor
High-strength aluminum alloy casing operates passively in extreme -40°C to +75°C outdoor traffic and mining junction boxes.
Applications Of Industrial PoE Switches
Engineered for mission-critical power delivery across extreme industrial sectors.

Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS)
Delivering stable 30W PoE power to speed radars and ANPR cameras inside boiling outdoor highway enclosures.

Factory Automation WLAN
Powering high-density Wi-Fi 6 APs across production floors while resisting severe ground current and EMI noise from VFDs.

Oil & Gas Pipelines
SFP fiber slots transmit real-time CCTV monitoring feeds back to centralized control rooms up to 120km away in -40°C freezes.

Mining & Harsh Tunnels
IP40 fanless metal casing prevents combustible dust accumulation and withstands continuous underground drilling vibration.

Perimeter & Border Defense
Providing dual DC48V redundant power backups to long-range thermal cameras deployed along extreme frontier perimeters.

Smart Grid Substations
Isolating critical IP camera nodes from ground loops caused by high-voltage step-down transformers.
What Our Clients Say
Real-world reliability verified by field systems integrators.
“The PoE auto-detect active saved our bacon. The installer plugged a regular programming laptop into a PoE port on the Valtoris switch and it didn’t fry the motherboard. Very reliable hardware for mixed cabinet camera and PLC .”
“We rely on the 10-port Gigabit models for municipal ITS projects. The 240W power budget easily handles four 30W PTZ cameras and a wireless bridge simultaneously without voltage drops during freezing winter nights.”

Frequently Asked Questions
The datasheet states a 240W PoE budget and +75°C operating limit. Does the available power de-rate (drop) when inside an unventilated outdoor enclosure at peak summer heat?
Our internal PSE (Power Sourcing Equipment) controller is thermally optimized, but standard laws of thermodynamics apply. Valtoris guarantees the full 240W budget up to +60°C ambient. If deployed in completely sealed, zero-airflow NEMA/IP66 traffic boxes continuously hitting +75°C, we conservatively advise sizing your total continuous PD load to 80% (approx. 192W) to preserve hardware lifespan and prevent thermal self-protection trips.
When a remote NEMA enclosure cold-boots after a grid power failure, will the simultaneous inrush current of 8 PoE cameras trip the switch or my DC power supply?
Valtoris Gigabit models feature staggered (sequential) port power-up. When DC voltage is restored, the PSE chip allocates power to Port 1, handshakes, and sequentially steps through to Port 8. This eliminates instant continuous current spikes, protecting your upstream 48V DIN-rail power supply from going into hiccup mode.
Since this is an Unmanaged switch, will it strip, modify, or drop my 802.1Q tagged VLAN packets (e.g., keeping CCTV traffic separate from PLC data)
No. Valtoris unmanaged Layer 2 switches are entirely VLAN-Transparent. They act as pure hardware pass-throughs; they do not read, add, or strip 802.1Q tags. You can safely run tagged IP camera traffic and native SCADA data across the same physical Valtoris switch, and your upstream managed core router will separate the streams flawlessly.
Are the Gigabit SFP uplink slots vendor-locked to Valtoris brand transceivers?
No. We believe in open OT architecture. Our SFP slots comply strictly with open MSA (Multi-Source Agreement) standards. You can utilize any standard industrial-grade 1000Base-X fiber transceivers (Cisco, Finisar, or third-party compatibles) to bridge your long-distance runs.
