VT-SW6GP-2GF-4GTPOE 6-Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch

Dual Gigabit SFP Uplinks for Flexible Fiber Topologies

Unlike the normal switch that only has one uplink port, the 6-Port Gigabit Industrial PoE Switch provides two independent 1000Base-X SFP slots. With its two fiber design, network engineers can easily deploy daisy-chain topologies along highways or railways or create highly resilient redundant fiber links. Standard SFP modules capable of transmitting data securely up to 120km without electromagnetic interference.

Gigabit PoE+ Power for Heavy-Load Edge Devices

Bandwidth bottlenecks and power constraints are eliminated with four dedicated 10/100/1000Base-T(X) RJ45 ports. Fully compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, each port delivers up to 30W of power alongside full Gigabit data speeds. It effortlessly drives modern Powered Devices (PDs) such as 4K PTZ surveillance cameras, Wi-Fi 6 Access Points, and digital signage over a standard Cat5e/Cat6 cable.

Rugged Aluminum Casing & 4kV Surge Protection

Designed for survival in non-climate-controlled environments, the switch has a high-strength, IP40-rated aluminum alloy casing with a passive fanless heat dissipation design. It will perform perfectly across an extreme temperature range of -40ºC to +75ºC. In addition, the network ports are protected with Level 4 ESD immunity and 4kV lightning surge protection against damage from high electrical transients.

Is this switch vendor-locked, or can I use third-party SFP transceivers?
No vendor lock-in. We understand the frustration of proprietary hardware. The VT-SW6GP-2GF-4GTPOE supports any standard, MSA-compliant 1.25G SFP transceiver. Whether you are using generic modules or transceivers coded for Cisco, Ubiquiti or MikroTik, they will plug and play without a problem as long as they match your physical fiber type (Single-mode/Multi-mode).
Can I use the two SFP ports to create a redundant fiber ring network?
No, please do not form a closed ring. This is a critical deployment detail. Because this model is an unmanaged Layer 2 switch, it lacks the software protocols (like STP, RSTP, or ERPS) required to manage loop avoidance. If you connect the two SFP ports into a closed ring, it will instantly create a broadcast storm and paralyze your network. The dual SFP design is engineered specifically for long-distance linear daisy-chain topologies (e.g., linking cameras along a highway in a straight line) or for dual independent uplinks. If you need self-healing ring redundancy, please browse our Managed Industrial Switch series.
What specifications do I need for the external power supply to utilize all 4 PoE+ ports?
Like most DIN-rail industrial equipment, it does not come with a power supply in the box. For best results using the PoE features (powering devices like PTZ cameras or outdoor APs with 30W on all 4 RJ45 ports simultaneously), your external DC power supply must meet two conditions:

1. Voltage: Need supply DC48V to DC52V to enable PoE negotiation.
2. Wattage: Should be at least 120W total (we recommend a 150W PSU to give yourself some safety room). The switch will be powered by a standard 12V or 24V industrial supply for data transmission, but it will not power the PoE devices.
