Point-to-Point Wireless RS232/485/422 to LoRa Converter
Valtoris offers strong LoRa Wireless Communication solutions for industrial settings that need reliable, long-range wireless connections. we design our LoRa devices for demanding environments where stable, low-power data transmission is critical—without the recurring costs of cellular networks.
The Hardware Core & Features
LORA (Point-to-Point) is a long-distance wireless communication scheme. Our LoRa products adopt the SX1287 chip and use Semtech’s patented LORA™ modulation technology to achieve a receiving sensitivity of -140dBm and an output power of +20dBm. The outdoor line-of-sight communication distance is up to 8km, featuring low power consumption and robust anti-interference.
Our industrial LoRa adapters operate as transparent point-to-point bridges and must be purchased and deployed in pairs. We offer two main categories to match your topology:
For Serial-to-Serial Extension (RS485/232/422 to LoRa to RS485/232/422): We recommend: [ VT-LR600 ] (Field Node) + [ VT-LR600 ] (Control Node).
For Serial-to-Ethernet Integration (RS485/232/422 to LoRa to TCP/IP): Need to connect remote serial devices to the Internet/LAN? We recommend: [ VT-LR600 ] (Field Node) + [ VT-LR601 ] (Ethernet Gateway).

Customer Success Stories
“Deploying Valtoris LoRa mesh devices across our remote ranch for livestock tracking was the right decision. The long-range connectivity eliminated dead zones, and the low power consumption means we haven’t changed batteries in over a year. Their team helped us tailor the setup, which was crucial for our rough terrain.”
Carlos G
Operations Director, Large-Scale Livestock Ranch
“Integrating Valtoris LoRa Modem devices into our smart streetlight pilot transformed our maintenance efficiency. We now get instant fault alerts and can monitor energy use per lamp. This has led to a 30% reduction in nightly patrol costs and faster response times, making our city lighting smarter and more sustainable.”

Why Choose Valtoris LoRa Modem device
Engineered for Real Remote Sites
We design our LoRa BasicsModem for places where cellular coverage ends and power outlets are scarce. Its 8km range and low power draw mean you can monitor water levels in a distant field or a pipeline valve in a mountain pass for years, without cellular plans or frequent battery swaps.
We Help You Get Connected, and Stay Connected
If your sensors aren’t talking, we don’t send you a PDF and walk away. Our support helps with pairing, configuration, and integrating with your existing Modbus devices until data flows reliably from your field to your screen.
Built to Fit Your System, Not Ours
If you need a different connector, a custom housing, or specific firmware to match your legacy PLC, we’ll adapt the LoRa device in our OEM/ODM process. Your project isn’t standard, and your solution shouldn’t have to be either.
Value is a Lower Total Cost of Operation
The upfront price is clear, but the real saving is in zero monthly fees, reduced site visits, and a connection that lasts. By choosing a license-free LoRa network, you invest in a data layer that gets more valuable over time, not more expensive.
Valtoris provides robust LoRa Modem (Point-to-Point) and gateway solutions, serving applications from smart agriculture and environmental monitoring to industrial automation and smart city infrastructure.
Our expertise in long-range, low-power wireless technology delivers reliable connectivity where cellular networks are unavailable or too costly, giving you a practical and sustainable operational advantage.
Our support extends beyond the hardware, offering technical consultation for system design, configuration assistance for seamless sensor/PLC integration, and guidance for deployment in challenging environments.
In the competitive landscape of industrial IoT, Valtoris stands out as a dependable partner through our commitment to engineering reliable hardware, providing adaptable OEM/ODM services, and building solutions that ensure your data flows consistently, year after year.
Valtoris’s LoRa Modem products provide reliable, long-range wireless connectivity for critical data transmission in remote and infrastructure-light settings, operating on license-free spectrum with no ongoing cellular fees.

Q: I am using LoRa to transmit Modbus RTU, but my SCADA system keeps showing “Timeout” errors. How do I fix this?
A: This is the most common issue when migrating from wired RS485 to LoRa. High Spreading Factors drastically increase your latency. You must manually increase the polling timeout setting in your SCADA/PLC to accommodate this radio latency (typically to 1000ms+).
Q: My sensors are only 500 meters away, but the connection keeps dropping. Why isn’t it reaching the promised 8km?
A: The 8km range assumes a clear Line-of-Sight. In real factory environments, dense metal racks and concrete walls cause severe signal fading. To fix this, elevate your antennas, use higher-gain fiberglass antennas, and never leave the antenna inside a sealed metal control cabinet.
Q: For remote pumping stations, should I choose LoRa or a 4G Cellular Router?
A: If you exceed the 8km line-of-sight limit, you must switch to a cellular solution. The choice depends on your data payload: For basic Modbus telemetry: If you only need to transmit serial sensor data (e.g., tank levels, pressure), deploy an Industrial 4G DTU. It operates exactly like your LoRa node but transmits over cellular towers for unlimited range. For high-bandwidth applications: If your remote site also requires Ethernet access for IP cameras (CCTV) or remote PLC programming, you must upgrade to anIndustrial 4G Cellular Routerto handle the high data throughput.
