The VT-WF110 is a high-performance wireless bridge that gets rid of the need for expensive wiring. It is explicitly made for industrial panels that don’t have a lot of room. For maximum safety, the enclosure is made of high temperature resistant, flame retardant materials and will not melt even at 110°C. It also features a standard DIN-rail mount and wide 9 – 24V DC input.

Built-in Modbus TCP Gateway

Stop polling collisions and communication timeouts. The VT-WF110 can convert Modbus RTU to Modbus TCP natively without any extra software. It features “Sticky Package Optimization” (configurable from 1ms to 100ms) to ensure your old serial meters and sensors can reliably collect data with extreme resolution accuracy.

Flexible AP and STA Modes

STA mode enables simple connection of your RS485 serial devices to the existing WiFi network of your facility for wide-area data aggregation. Or, you can use AP mode to set up a local wireless network that is independent. Engineers can monitor and safely debug equipment on the factory floor from their smartphones or laptops without an internet connection.

How do I configure the VT-WF110 if it is not connected to my local network yet?
It’s easy to set up with its inbuilt AP Mode. It generates its own WiFi hotspot, allowing you to connect a smartphone or laptop directly to the device for initial configuration through a Web browser without the need for an existing network. Alternatively, you can connect the unit to an Ethernet cable and use our Vircom one-click search tool to find and configure the module, even across different network segments.
Does the VT-WF110 support simultaneous wired and wireless data transmission?
Yes. One of the key technological advantages of the VT-WF110 is that it can simultaneously support Ethernet and WiFi access. The gateway allows the simultaneous use of the WiFi and wired network port, and provides seamless mutual data conversion between the two interfaces, ensuring highly redundant telemetry.
