Zigbee products currently have two categories; one is the serial port converter to Zigbee for Model VT-ZB700, which includes 3 kinds of serial ports: RS232/485/422. The other is Ethernet (TCP/IP) converting to Zigbee for Model VT-ZB701, which can make Zigbee connected to the Internet.
The Zigbee products is high performance products designed for industrial application, the transmission distance can achieve 2 km in the open. As using 2.4G DSSS spread spectrum technology, the anti-jamming capability is strong. Compared to WiFi, its wireless connection is farther, connection speed is faster, anti-jamming capability is stronger, networking is more convenient.
The VT-ZB700/VT-ZB701 products can be configured to relative link, as point-to-point communication or broadcast mode, also as point to multi-point mode. Can constitute star type and MESH network structure. The configuration can be done through serial port.

VT-ZB700 can be used in data collection of a variety of RS232/485/232 serial devices and can transfer the collected data to a Zigbee network to realize a structure similar to wireless RS485.
VT-ZIB701 usually acts as the main station; it receives serial data from each VT-ZIGBEE700 device and converts the serial data to TCP/IP packets, then transfers them to the network server.
The VT-ZB700/VT-ZB701 product realizes the transparent data transfer between RS232/485/232 Ethernet and Zigbee. When two VT-ZB700 access one network, the data sent by a serial device is immediately output in the B serial device, and vice versa. When VT-ZB700 and VT-ZB701 connect, the data sent by the VT-ZB700 serial port can immediately appear in the VT-ZB701 serial port, as it is transparently converted to the TCP/IP data of VT-ZB701.VT-ZB701 can work in TCP server/TCP client/UDP mode; VT-ZB701 is just like a serial device server in Zigbee form.
